FAQ

Updated: January 2026

Rat Race Rebellion shares vetted remote job leads sourced from official employer career pages and ATS sites. We’re not the hiring company, and we don’t have access to application status or hiring timelines.

If you spot a broken link, location mismatch, or anything suspicious, tell us – we’ll review it. Contact us at [email protected].

Job Seekers: Applying & Hiring

How do I apply for a job you posted?
Rat Race Rebellion isn’t a hiring company. To apply, open the job post on our site and click the employer’s official application link (usually near the end of the post). Then follow the employer’s instructions on their site.

Can you check my application status or follow up for me?
No – employers control the application process and we don’t have access to their hiring systems. For updates, use the employer’s portal or contact method listed in the job posting.

Do you hire for the roles you post?
No. We don’t make hiring decisions and we can’t influence selection. All hiring questions must go to the employer.

Job Seekers: Location & Eligibility

Why does a job say “U.S. remote” but exclude certain states (CA, NY, etc.)?
Some employers only hire in states where they’re set up for payroll, tax, or compliance. Those restrictions sometimes appear only during the application flow. If you see a mismatch, email [email protected] with the job link and the restriction you found.

What does “remote” mean on Rat Race Rebellion?
“Remote” means the employer currently describes the role as remote, but eligibility may still be limited by location (for example: specific U.S. states, U.S.-only). Always confirm requirements in the employer’s posting, especially if you live outside the listed locations.

Do you post jobs for Canadians?
Yes – when employers explicitly hire in Canada. Use our site search for “Canada” to find Canada-eligible roles, and always confirm location requirements in the employer’s posting.

Do you post international (outside U.S. and Canada) jobs?
Most roles we share are limited to the U.S., and some include Canada. We rarely post roles open outside those countries unless the employer clearly states it.

Job Seekers: Safety, Verification, and Ads

Are the jobs you post guaranteed to be legitimate?
We source roles from official employer career pages/ATS links and avoid job-board mirrors. Still, employers control their process and scams evolve. If something looks off, report it to [email protected] and we’ll re-check the listing.

How do you verify jobs?
We source roles from official employer career pages or reputable ATS platforms and look for an active job detail page with a working application flow. We avoid job-board mirrors and remove or update posts when employers change or close roles.

A company wants me to pay for a background check. Is that a scam?
It can go either way. Sometimes independent contractor roles require the worker to cover certain costs – but scams also use “background checks” to collect money. Red flags include: payment via gift cards/crypto/wire, pressure to pay immediately, or a “recruiter” using a free email address. If you’re unsure, send us the details at [email protected] before paying.

I clicked a company link – why can’t I find it in your posts?
You may have clicked an ad labeled “Ad” or “Sponsored” rather than our screened job content. If you send us the company name/link, we can confirm whether it was part of our screened listings.

Do you use affiliate links or get paid for job listings?

Some of the links we share, especially in our Daily Job Leads & Work-from-Home Jobs posts, are affiliate or paid listings. That means if you click a link and take an action (such as applying, clicking through partner listings, or using a service), we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only share links to legitimate employer career pages or verified remote opportunities, and affiliate partnerships do not influence our screening process. This helps us keep Rat Race Rebellion free for job seekers and focus on quality leads.

How do I report a suspected scam or an inaccurate listing?
Email [email protected] with: (1) the job link, (2) the company name, (3) what you’re seeing (screenshots help), and (4) any messages/payment requests you received. We’ll review and update or remove the listing when needed.

Job Seekers: Older Posts & Broken Links

A link in an older post isn’t working. What happened?
Older roles may close or the employer may change the posting URL. Check the date at the top of the post. For current openings, browse our newest listings first. If you send us the broken link at [email protected], we’ll update or remove it when possible.

Job Seekers: 1-on-1 Help

Do you offer 1-on-1 job search help?
We can’t provide individual coaching. Our time goes into finding and screening scam-free remote jobs. If you want structured guidance, start with our free course here: https://ratracerebellion.com/wfh-course/

Employers / Advertisers

How do I submit a job to be considered for your daily listings?
Send the official job posting URL to [email protected]. We review opportunities before posting (no MLM, no buy-in required, no commission-only, etc.). If it meets our criteria, we may share it.

How long does review take?
We review as quickly as possible, but timing can vary based on volume and verification needs. If a role meets our criteria and is a fit for our audience, we may share it in an upcoming post.

How do I advertise with Rat Race Rebellion?
