Got a Creative Streak? AT&T Wants to Give Away $50,000

If you can shoot video, AT&T is giving away $50,000

Got a creative streak? AT&T is giving away $50,000 for 2-minute videos about small businesses. But that’s just one of 257 contests you can go for….

The backstory: Zooppa is a site that enables artists to get big bucks for digital projects for major brands and ad agencies. They’ve awarded over $5.7M so far to designers, photographers and filmmakers.

How It Works

A brand like AT&T, Kikkoman, Ferrero Rocher or hundreds of others describes the type of creative project it would like to get, and the money it will award. Artists submit their work and judges from the brand pick the winners. The winners get the bucks.

For example, AT&T is looking for two-minute videos with authentic stories from passionate small-business owners. The vids should show how technology helps them grow and succeed in their business. You can upload multiple entries, at no charge. (Zooppa gets its fees from the brands.)

Here’s the payout of the AT&T contest:

Zooppa Community Award – $2,500
This award goes to the videographer who receives the most votes during the voting round.
