Work from Home Customer Service Jobs at Jackson Hewitt – Hiring from 21 States, Including CALIFORNIA

Jackson Hewitt is looking for seasonal part-time Customer Service Associates for their Virtual Contact Center, training provided. These are temporary openings that may last from 3 weeks to 4 months, the company says.

Although Jackson Hewitt is a large tax return company, these are not designated as “tax preparer” jobs. You’ll be taking inbound customer service calls.

Requirements include a HS diploma, GED, or equivalent; high-speed internet; and a “USB-connected headset with noise canceling features or a dedicated home phone line.”

As with many seasonal jobs, you’ll need to have schedule flexibility. “Shifts include days, afternoons, and evenings, typically one or both weekend days, and occasional overtime.”

For these jobs, the company says it’s hiring from Alabama, Colorado, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Pay isn’t quoted, although Glassdoor mentions $9/hr. for Jackson Hewitt Call Center Agents. Overall, JH gets 3.5 stars out of 5. Indeed mentions $9.36 for JH Customer Service Reps. and $10.20 for Call Center Reps.
