100+ Remote Openings in Education-Related Positions with Many Companies

work from home

by Chris Durst      Sep. 26, 2019

We have many RRRebels looking for work from home positions in teaching and other education-related positions. We regularly post those types of positions here on the RRR site and in our Elite group. But we also wanted to share another site that posts many education-related remote jobs.

Edsurge is an education news organization that, as part of their services, hosts a job board that features education industry-specific jobs.

To make it even sweeter, their job board is super easy to search for remote positions in:

  • Curriculum Design
  • Customer Success
  • Engineering
  • Executive
  • Higher Ed Administrative
  • Higher Ed Faculty & Instruction
  • K-12 Administrative / Leadership
  • K-12 Teaching
  • Marketing
  • Operations
  • Product & Design
  • Research
  • Sales

To see the remote jobs on Edsurge, click here and enter the word REMOTE in the KEYWORD field. (There’s also a little “SEE REMOTE JOBS” link just above the keyword search field that will render the same results.)

Course Hero Hiring nationwide. Make up to $500/wk. Answer questions online. Essentially, the company is looking for people with expertise. If you’re claiming expertise in an area where a college degree would be expected — science, for example — then you’ll need one. Your credentials are key. “We believe that experts take all forms and therefore do not require that you be a certified tutor or professor. However, you do need to share sufficient credentials to prove that you have an expertise in the categories which you would like to tutor,” the company says…

Education First Earn up to $20/hr. If you’re looking for a side gig with decent hourly rates — plus $100 bonus for each 100 hrs. of teaching, up to $2,000 — Education First is actively hiring. You’d be teaching English to Chinese children online. Set your own hours, materials provided. BA or BS required. Must have TEFL certification by start of contract. For an advantage, schedule your video interview (and nail it) promptly after you apply. The video interview is key.
