Work from Home Jobs & Side Gigs with No Credit Check

Credit checks for employment have become common, whether it’s a work-at-home or on-site job. And the fact that the job seeker — who’s usually on a tight budget — often has to pay for the check doesn’t help.

Some states, however, have banned or restricted employment credit checks, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington. Washington, DC has done so, too. Other states are considering similar regulations.

But apart from these trends, many home-based jobs and side gigs still don’t require a credit check. Here are 36 open now. Some pay up to $2,000 a month, others are extra-cash options to help pay the bills. (Some of the links are affiliate links — screened and legitimate — which help us keep the computers on.
