We just received an email from the recruiter for A Closer Look about positions they are hiring for right now. This is a legitimate mystery shopping company, but these are not mystery shopping jobs.
The recruiter tells us the company has been “recently acquiring accounts of very large restaurant and hotel chains in addition to the many accounts we already held. This requires many new schedulers and editors.” Mike wrote you about the scheduling positions last week. You can read about those positions here.
She goes on to say, “These jobs are at-home, independent contractor positions that are paid for production, either shops scheduled or reports edited. Schedulers and editors are paid by check every two weeks. The average earned amount for these positions ranges between $700 – $1200 / month.”
From their site, here is the description of the EDITING roles they need to fill immediately:
Editors:
We often seek candidates to work as Editors. This is a part-time independent contractor position. Editors work virtually/from home and can be located anywhere in the United States. Reports are edited for content, consistency, grammar, punctuation and spelling. Candidates must possess great attention to detail, the ability to read and follow precise directions, the ability to identify and correct inconsistencies in information, the ability to proactively obtain information from shoppers by phone daily, and a strong command of the English language, including spelling, grammar and sentence structure. Mystery shopping experience preferred.
