Best Buy Now Hiring Work from Home Fulfillment Agents

If you’re good with technology and people, Best Buy may have the perfect work from home position for you!

The company is seeking Fulfillment Agents applicants in all states except California, Washington and Alaska. Also excludes Puerto Rico.

Pay is not listed on their job description, however, according to Glassdoor, based on information gathered from people who currently work in this role, “The typical Best Buy Covert Fulfillment Agent salary is $19. Covert Fulfillment Agent salaries at Best Buy can range from $17-$20.”

Here’s how the company describes the role:

Our Covert Fulfillment Agent’s primary role is to solve challenging repairs of technology centric issues. They are responsible for client education on the cause of issues found, work that is performed to find and resolve problems, and recommendations/solutions to prevent issues from occurring in the future.

They document their client interactions, recommendations, and resolutions as well as connect and transmit client sessions via remote desktop/device control applications. This is a 100% remote and work from home role (unless otherwise identified).

Key accountabilities:

  • Independently interacts with clients and performs repairs with high quality and speed (accurate and swift)
  • Maintains high levels of professionalism, courtesy and customer service throughout all client interactions
  • Use deep knowledge of computing/consumer electronics to troubleshoot and repair client issues with Windows/Mac Operating Systems, application software installation and troubleshooting, consumer grade networking
  • Documents all client interactions, recommendations, and resolutions in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Basic Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older
  • Seeking applicants in all states excluding California, Washington, Alaska and Puerto Rico
  • Ability to meet availability requirements that include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to provide a quiet, distraction-free work environment
  • Ability to provide a reliable high-speed internet connection (Cable, DSL, or Fiber)
  • Networking, hardware installation, data backup, and application installation/troubleshooting experience
  • 1 year Microsoft Windows
  • 1 year Apple OS X
  • 1 year iOS
  • 1 year Android
  • 1 year troubleshooting and repairing operating system issues (including malware removal)
  • 1 year Microsoft Windows
  • 1 year Apple OS X
  • 1 year iOS
  • 1 year Android
  • 1 year experience in a consumer facing or help desk environment
