We receive questions every day from people who want to make money doing online surveys.
The first thing we tell them is that surveys should be considered as a source of extra income – not a job. That said, we know of thousands of people who are thrilled with the money, gift cards, and rewards they earn taking surveys. They love that it’s a gig that doesn’t require a regular schedule, so they can do it in between other commitments.
Here are six survey sites to help you get started toward some extra cash!
InboxDollars – $5 signup bonus
In addition to taking surveys, you can also make money by using coupons, using their toolbar for web searches, reading emails, referring friends, playing games and other tasks. Minimum cashout is $30 and they pay via check of Visa Cash Card.
Swagbucks – $5 signup bonus
We hear great things about Swagbucks for extra income. The company pays “Swagbucks” (100 Swagbucks = $1) for performing tasks, including taking surveys, using their search engine, referring friends, cashback offers at retailers like Walmart, Target, Amazon and Macy’s, watching videos, signing up for trial offers, playing games, and even hourly “Random Winner” bonuses.
Pinecone pays a minimum of $3 for each survey completed (300 points = $3) and pays with a minimum account balance of $3. Payment is made via PayPal, check, Amazon gift cards, or gift cards to other retailers – your choice.
This company focuses on surveys and, like many of the sites listed, they pay in points (100 points = $1) that can be cashed out for cash or gift cards. The minimum cashout is $5.
Global Test Market
Payment per survey varies, usually ranging from $1.50 to $1.75 each and the cashout minimum is $50. This means you’ll have to “save up” your credit for a while before cashing out, but we know of people who like that because it forces them to save their money until it accumulates and can be used for upcoming bills.
Earn $5 when you take 5 surveys. In addition to taking surveys, MyPoints offers a variety of ways to make money including, reading email, shopping online, watching videos, playing games, and referring friends.
