The Chat Shop is a growing UK-based company whose clients include Mercedes-Benz and other large brands. Employee reviews give it 4.8 stars out of 5. It was founded in 2012 and has an international team.
The pay rate of $10/hr. isn’t quoted on the site and hasn’t been confirmed by the company, but was mentioned in a post on Indeed. Requirements include being able to work 35-40 hours per week. You’ll also need a reliable net connection and a typing speed of 80 WPM.
Although the company was founded in the UK, it appears to have thoroughly embraced the “distributed team” view. “We realized to continue to work with the best team we could find we needed to look further afield than commuting distance from our HQ in West London. As long as you have a distraction free workspace, reliable internet and are a native English speaker you can still be and feel a big part of the team.”
