Work from Home Data Entry Job at Xerox

Update Oct. 15, 2016 — It looks like Xerox has just changed this job to non-virtual. The job description, at the bottom of the text, now indicates that working from home is not an option. “Virtual/work from home? No.” ~ Mike

Xerox is looking for one or more Data Entry Agents (the official title is “Transaction Processor”) to work from home. The last Data Entry job we saw at Xerox paid $12/hr., but the hourly rate isn’t quoted for this one. Per Glassdoor, the typical Xerox Data Entry rate is $14/hr.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to work overtime as needed. You’ll also need to be able to type at least 8,000 keystrokes per hour, or about 27 WPM.

Responsibilities

Quoting from the job description, you’ll “provide administrative support to business operations by performing processing tasks such as data entry, scanning, mail sorting or similar activities.”

Hiring States

Reportedly, Xerox work from home jobs are available nationally, regardless of whether they mention a specific location. (This job mentions London, KY, but that’s probably because HR forms often require that a “location” be specified for a job.)
