Work from Home Customer Support Reps – Concentrix: P/t and f/t. Hiring nationally except AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, HI, MA, MD, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OR, VT, WA, WI. No college required. Per Glassdoor reviews, average base pay is $12/hr., but that’s not official.


Secondary Special Education Substitute Teacher – Pearson: Hiring from TN. “Valid Special Education teacher certification in Tennessee. Special Education instruction experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or higher…”


P/T Merchandisers – Hallmark: If you’re looking for a part-time job with local travel, Hallmark continues to recruit Merchandisers. Travel to local stores to stock cards and perform other duties. Many people appreciate the balance and flexibility of being able to get “out of the house” for a little while and be around other adults, without having to go “all in” with a traditional [email protected] job. Pay ranges from $8 to $15/hr., with an average of $10, per employee reviews on Glassdoor.


Survey Takers – Springboard America: Pays up to $5 cash per survey. Also pays $2 per successful referral. Pays in points redeemable for PayPal cash (as mentioned in their “Terms and Conditions”). If you prefer, you can be paid in Visa cards or Amazon gift cards.


Freelance Fiction Writers – Radish Fiction: “Radish Fiction, a mobile app for serialized fiction, seeks freelance writers for Radish Originals, our daily serialized stories produced in-house. Writers will be matched with a genre fiction project and be responsible for writing a minimum of 5 chapters (each 1,500 words) per week based on a detailed outline. Get Paid Up to $50 to Download Nielsen’s App – Nielsen (The TV/Radio ratings company) – “For each mobile device you register you will receive up to $50 a year,” the company says. For consumer trend data, Nielsen will pay you to install an undetectable app on your smartphone, computer or tablet. The app follows your web use. Your name is separated from the data, and devices run as usual. User IDs and passwords are not collected, the company adds.


Get Paid to Participate in Health Studies – L&E Research: Nationwide. The company is looking for men and women 45-75 for a research study on heart conditions and/or Diabetes who are newly diagnosed.


Earn Up to $20/Hr. Teaching English Online – Education First: If you’re looking for a side gig with decent hourly rates — plus $100 bonus for each 100 hrs. of teaching, up to $2,000 — Education First is actively hiring. You’d be teaching English to Chinese children online. Set your own hours, materials provided. BA or BS required. Must have TEFL certification by start of contract. For an advantage, schedule your video interview (and nail it) promptly after you apply. The video interview is key.

P/T Virtual Receptionists and Executive Assistants – Virtual Gal Friday: Virtual Gal Friday continues to recruit. (RRRebel Dianne M. posted to our FB page that she was just hired there.) No college required, no state hiring restrictions mentioned. Per reviews on Indeed, pay for Virtual Receptionists is about $10.75/hr. and $12.50 for Executive Assistants. Glassdoor puts pay for “Virtual Assistants” at about $12-$13/hr.


Extra Cash — Take Surveys & Short Polls for Toluna — If you’re looking for extra cash, Toluna is another option. Pays in points redeemable for PayPal cash, or (if you prefer) gift cards for Amazon, Walmart, Target and other major brands. Daily sweepstakes and other ways to earn are included. Not for core income, but can help with bills or frills.


Get Paid to Be an “Observer” with Your Cell Phone – Observa: Observa is looking for people to take pix when they’re in stores, and perform similar phone-based tasks. “Most opportunities pay somewhere between $4-12, and require no more than 10-15 minutes of your time. There is no limit on the number of opportunities you can complete, but keep in mind you only have two hours to complete the opportunity after accepting it.” The company’s growing, but tasks aren’t available everywhere.
