Nielsen, media ratings company, is hiring Field Reps across the US. “Field Representatives build and maintain relationships with Nielsen Families/Households and educate Panel Members on the proper use of our equipment. Field Representatives install, maintain and troubleshoot proprietary hardware and software in our sample homes to capture three screen audience measurements – Mobile, Online, and TV.” Pay is roughly $38k/yr. based on Glassdoor employee reviews, but that’s not official. For consumer trend data, Nielsen will pay you to install an undetectable app on your smartphone, computer or tablet. The app follows your web use. Your name is separated from the data, and devices run as usual. User IDs and passwords are not collected, the company adds.
Telephone Mystery Shoppers for Healthcare – Perception Strategies: Pays for phone calls to doctors’ offices, including your report on the experience. The web says they pay a minimum of $12 per “phone shop,” but that’s not official. Not sure how long a “shop” typically takes. Also pays for in-person visits and other types of healthcare mystery shops.
Make Up to $500/Wk. Tutoring at Course Hero — Hiring nationwide. Answer questions online. Essentially, the company is looking for people with expertise. If you’re claiming expertise in an area where a college degree would be expected — science, for example — then you’ll need one. Your credentials are key. “We believe that experts take all forms and therefore do not require that you be a certified tutor or professor. However, you do need to share sufficient credentials to prove that you have an expertise in the categories which you would like to tutor,” the company says.

Take Surveys for Extra Cash – Pinecone Research: Got a HS diploma/GED or didn’t complete HS? Pinecone needs you. Earn $3 per survey (15-20 mins., typically). They may also send you free products to test. Minimum age for surveys is 18. We’ve never seen them seek this category of applicants before. Not sure how long it will last, so apply or share quickly if interested.
