Work from Home Telephone Data Collectors Needed Again
Westat, an established research company founded in 1963, is advertising again for part-time Telephone Data Collectors. These are legitimate data collection jobs (you’ll be doing phone interviews), no sales, no telemarketing. Part-time, training provided. No experience needed.
Westat is headquartered in Maryland and has 2,000 employees. It hires Telephone Data Collectors to conduct interviews on subjects such as transportation, health, education and the environment. The work commitment is 20-40 hours per week.
You must be 18 and have a landline phone. A home office isn’t required. You’ll need a quiet place for training and the interviews you’ll be doing, and a wired Internet connection.
Pay for the job isn’t quoted, but reports range from $8.25 to $10+ per hour. An additional $2 has been reported for night work. (Westat hasn’t confirmed these figures.)
Benefit eligibility varies for part-time, hourly, and temporary employees, the company says. “Eligibility is based on the type of position, the number of hours worked, and tenure.” For more on benefits, click here.
For job details, go to Westat’s Careers search page and search with job ID 11395BR.
If you have any trouble with that link, just click here and click on “Search Professional Positions.” On the next page, scroll down in the Location menu, select “US – Home-based telephone work” and search.
