Humana is a national healthcare and insurance provider serving millions of members across Medicare, Medicaid, and employer-based plans.

In this role, you’ll support member-facing operations by processing service requests, resolving benefits-related inquiries, documenting interactions, and coordinating follow-ups in a regulated healthcare environment. While Humana prefers English/Spanish bilingual candidates, bilingual ability is not required to apply and is treated as an added qualification rather than a screening requirement.

The position is fully remote and follows a set weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, 10:40 AM–7:10 PM). Attendance is considered essential, with no time off permitted during training or the first 90 days, and very limited, pre-approved time off during the 180-day appraisal period. Provide operational and customer service support to Humana members by resolving inquiries, processing requests, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process member service requests and operational tasks.
  • Resolve benefit, eligibility, and service-related inquiries.
  • Document interactions accurately in internal systems.
  • Coordinate scheduling and follow-up activities.
  • Adhere to established procedures and compliance standards.

Relevant Experience & Skills

  • Customer service or operations experience.
  • Healthcare or insurance experience preferred.
  • English/Spanish bilingual ability preferred, not required.
  • Experience using internal systems and documentation tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated compensation for this role is $40,000–$52,300/yr.
