Recora, a telehealth heart-health provider, healthcare services company, has posted a Remote Patient Enrollment Specialist opening to their careers page.
In this role, you would speak with potential patients and their family members, explain the program, answer questions, help them navigate the app or website, resolve basic technical issues, and enroll eligible patients. You’d also schedule patient sessions, record accurate documentation, and achieve weekly productivity targets.

The posted pay rate is $20–$22 per hour, with a potential $200/week bonus.

As a Patient Enrollment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enrolling patients in the company’s healthcare service and ensuring patient satisfaction. You will engage potential patients over the phone, provide information about the program, address questions, and sign them up. You will also offer technical support and schedule their sessions with the care team.
Job Responsibilities
- Educate potential patients and family members on the program, answer questions, highlight benefits and features, handle objections, and enroll patients.
- Assist patients in navigating the program app or website and address technical issues.
- Make outbound calls and respond promptly to inbound calls.
- Assess patient eligibility with provided documentation and address inquiries and concerns.
- Record and maintain accurate information and call notes in the system, including insurance, provider, and clinical updates.
- Achieve weekly productivity targets and ensure timely follow-ups with interested patients.
- Stay informed on cardiac rehabilitation updates and attend training sessions to enhance knowledge.
- Send educational materials to patients through email and other channels.
- Communicate insurance or other relevant information with appropriate parties.
Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Experience working in a quota-driven role.
- Passion for improving healthcare through technology.
- Experience in customer or patient engagement, preferably in a sales capacity.
- Comfortable with outbound calling and skilled at navigating various situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Experience leveraging technology in a professional setting.
- Prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time 1099 contractor position, paying $20–$22 per hour plus potential bonuses of up to $200 per week based on performance. Traditional employee benefits are not offered.
