There are companies that are eager to pay for your valuable feedback to help them improve their user experiences. Below, we’ve compiled a list of legitimate platforms where you can get paid for your insights, complete with an overview of each company, details about how much they pay, and links to sign up.
These are EXTRA CASH opportunities, not jobs, so don’t expect full-time steady income from them.

Overview: Test exciting new products and get paid to give feedback for new apps, websites, and connected products. We test all types of products including apps, websites, and connected hardware products like smart vacuums, TVs, and media devices.
Payment: A common incentive for a test that takes 45-60 minutes is $15-$30. In general, tests that are shorter have lower rewards and tests that are complex, difficult, and take place over weeks or months have larger rewards.
For tests that include a cash incentive, payments are made via PayPal within 14 days after the end of a project. This allows the client time to review, rate, and approve your feedback.
2. IntelliZoom
Overview: Get paid to share your experiences and make an impact on products you love and care about. Got 15-20 minutes to spare? Giving feedback is easy. Participate in studies remotely, on your schedule, from your home or on the go, using your own device.
Payment: Payment depends on the complexity of the study. For studies that record think out loud audio and video, you can expect to make $10 on average. For standard surveys, the payment is $2 on average.
3. PlaytestCloud
Overview: PlaytestCloud was created to help game developers learn more about what players think about their games and if there are any issues that need to be addressed. For you, it’s a chance to make some money on the side while improving mobile games! You can add your child to your profile and then you will receive playtests for them.
Payment: Generally, a 15 minute playtest will have a reward of $9 USD, but if you are ever unsure, please check the invitation email for the reward amount.
The reward payment for each playtest can vary depending on the tasks required during the playtests and the length of the playtest itself. We will always let you know how much the reward payment is in the invitation email we send you.
4. TestIO
Overview: Test wherever you are—from a couch in your dorm to a chair with beach views. Get an exclusive look at new apps from leading companies and innovative startups.
Payment: How much you earn will depend on the tests you qualify for, the kinds of bugs you’re able to find, and whether your findings are accepted by our customers as valid. The most lucrative bugs pay up to $50. The most lucrative test cases often involve specific phones and locations.
Payment is monthly.
5. Trymata (formerly TryMyUI)
Overview: All you have to do as a tester is be yourself: use the test website exactly as you would in a real-life situation, and voice your thoughts and frustrations out loud so the site developers can understand your experience (and others’ like you).
Payment: Get paid to use websites and apps and give your honest feedback, and earn from $5-30 per test! We send payments out every weekday morning through PayPal. Tests are cleared for payment after being reviewed and accepted by our graders.
6. Ubertesters
Overview: Become a PRIMETESTER, earn money, and test pre-released amazing mobile apps, websites, and exciting games from the leading digital companies around the world, and all in your spare time.
Payment: The payment rate depends on the tester’s level and experience, testing location and the project complexity. Once the registration and certification process is completed, the assigned community manager will confirm the payment rate per hour with you.
Keep in mind that over time, and once you get high ratings on executed testing projects from the clients and our project managers, your hourly rate may increase. Thus, please make sure you execute the testing projects well, with very detailed ‘issue reporting’, in order to ensure you get more projects to test and an increased hourly rate.
7. Userbrain
Overview: At Userbrain, we are always looking for individuals who can help us improve the user experience of websites, prototypes, and mobile apps. As a Userbrain Tester, you will play a crucial role in our clients’ user research by providing valuable feedback on various digital products.
Payment: $5 per completed test via PayPal.
8. UserFeel
Overview: Each test lasts 5 to 60 minutes and is completed with your computer, tablet or smartphone. You would conduct usability tests on websites, apps or prototypes. The job is to imagine a given scenario and perform certain tasks, like finding a product in an online store and going through the checkout process. This helps site owners find and fix usability issues.
Payment: After the initial qualification test which is not paid, you get paid $3 for 5-minutes tests, $10 for 20-minutes tests, $20 for 40-minutes tests and $30 for 60-minutes tests. You receive payment after approval, about one week after the test, to your Userfeel Wallet and you can transfer from there to your PayPal account at any time.
9. Userlytics
Overview: You’ll be user testing websites, prototypes, advertisements, videos and other types of material from small start-up companies to those of large well-known corporations. You can contact us before beginning a user experience test if you have doubts about its content.
Payment: Once our client has reviewed and positively rated your test feedback, your test will be marked as “approved”. Payments for approved tests are made once every 15 days. Pay is generally around $10 each.
10. UserPeek
Overview: UserPeek pays testers to visit a website, app, or digital product, complete a set of tasks,
and speak their thoughts out loud. Testers get paid for every 15 to 20 minutes test they complete. Special expertise is not necessary to get started in website testing.
Payment: You earn US$10 for every 15 to 20 minutes website testing video that is approved. Additionally, if you qualify for a certified tester, your earnings can be higher. Paid via PayPal.
11. UserTesting
Overview: Share your perspective on products and experiences and make money online from the comfort of your home. Answer screening questions to match with earning opportunities. New surveys and recorded tests are released all the time!
Payment: The reward amounts for each test vary and depend on factors like test type, duration, and customer demand—your dashboard will always show you the amount you’ll get paid for each test. Payments for completed tests are usually sent 14 days later.
12. uTest
Overview: When companies like Uber need to ensure a new feature is ready before rolling it out globally, they utilize uTesters to validate that it works, looks and performs as expected. Our clients count on the feedback of uTesters to ensure that their products live up to the high expectations of their customers.
Payment: High-quality testers can make over $1,000 a month, with rates depending on performance and ranking.
