The role: Early Engagement Specialist
As an Early Engagement Specialist on our Retention team, you are a great communicator who enjoys working in a high-velocity sales and support environment, and are extremely customer focused. You are excited at the prospect of supporting our newly enrolled customers; you have the ability to listen, understand their needs, handle objections, instill confidence, resell value and coach/train to get new customers on track to success. Your objective is to deliver a fantastic customer experience and maximize customer retention, with a focus on those customers that need a little extra help getting up and running.
Our team of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and client-focused team members are the “human face” of Housecall Pro, helping our service professionals to understand the value that the payments processing side of our software brings to growing their businesses.
What you’ll be doing
- Support, guide and instill confidence in customers during their first 30 days as they are implementing Housecall Pro.
- Manage and prioritize your workflow and call lists with speed and accuracy.
- Listen and understand customers’ needs; handle objections, instill confidence, and resell the value of Housecall Pro.
- Coach customers on the basics of the Housecall Pro product, by providing them with clear next steps in their onboarding process
- Quickly identify and escalate customers to applicable resolution paths, as needed.
- Understand and adapt to Housecall’s ongoing product and technology developments.
- Be an effective team player with strong customer service, communication, presentation and creative problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency required; some college a plus
- Customer support/service experience highly desirable
- Prior experience in customer/client facing role; 6+ months of outbound sales or prospecting experience a plus but not required
- Excellent English reading, writing and verbal communication
- Reputation for being hard-working and reliable
- Professional attitude and demeanor when interacting with others
Compensation & Benefits – Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates and the expected compensation range for this role is $23.99-$28.21/hour (includes base and potential performance bonus). The specific hourly rate for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
