In this role, you will communicate with patients via phone, accurately and timely schedule appointments based on provided protocols, pre-register patients and verify insurance.

Patient Services Representatives communicate with patients via phone, accurately and timely schedule appointments based on provided protocols, pre-register patients and verify insurance. This fast-paced position requires recent two (2) years minimum working medical office experience, including electronic health record systems (EMR/EHR) duties, and basic insurance guidelines.
- Prefer candidates with high volume scheduling in a medical multi-provider facility and patient clinical message encounters experience. Representatives can expect to handle 100 + calls back-to-back per shift.
- Candidates must have exceptional communication skills including written (legible, concise and with appropriate spelling) and verbal, including proper phone etiquette.
- Proficient and self-sufficient on a desktop computer and have a sense of urgency in assisting patients.
- The Patient Services Representatives must have private, noise-free, HIPAA compliant space at home.

- 22-inches or bigger
- Dual Monitor is highly recommended
- Input Device:
- A proper non-mechanical keyboard and mouse is required
- Internet Requirements:
- Wireless(WiFi), Cellular(Hotspot), and Satellite internet connections are not acceptable due to the weather and radio frequency interference concerns which will cause unstable internet connectivity
- Internet Provider Type: Cable Internet
- Computer Internet Connection Requirements: Wired Ethernet connection
- Internet Speed: 30mpbs for Download and 10mpbs for Upload Minimum
- Headset Requirements:
- Must have two headsets at all times in case of emergency
- Required Headset: Plantronics Blackwire 3320 – Wired, Dual-Ear (Stereo)
- Headset Type: Stereo or Dual-Ear
- Connection Type: USB Headset
- Microphone: Noise Cancelling
- Employees must have a private, noise free, HIPAA compliant space at home.
