Intoxalock, the company that developed the technology used in breathalyzers in vehicles, has posted a Remote Recovery Associate job to their careers page.
In this role, you will be responsible for retaining customers and collecting any outstanding balance. This will involve answering inbound calls and text messages, following up on promises to pay, and other related tasks.
Applicants should have excellent verbal and written English skills, at least two years of customer service, collections, or sales, and great problem-solving skills.
The posted pay rate for this position is $18/hour + uncapped performance incentives.
All computer equipment is provided by Intoxalock.

As a Recovery Associate, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert within our Retention & Collections Organization responsible for retaining customers and collecting any outstanding balance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and text messages assisting customers to remain in compliance
- Contact customers via outbound calls, text messages and/or email to assist with retention and collection efforts
- Follow up on all promise to pays, payment plans and settlements in a timely manner
- Plan, organize and prioritize daily work to meet deadlines
- Adhere to department guidelines and goals to ensure KPIs are met
- Special Projects and all other duties as directed by management
Job Requirements:
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years experience in a Customer Service, Collections or Sales role strongly preferred
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify the problem, analyze possible solutions and decide on the best course of action
- Strong listening skills to understand the needs of the customers and find a way to achieve account resolution
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, call center environment
- Highly motivated to meet department goals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
