Account Sales Representative – Remote Southwest
3M is hiring a remote Account Sales Representative to support its Personal Auto business across the Southwest U.S. This full-time role allows you to work from home within the designated territory while driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships.
About the Role
In this remote field sales position, you’ll manage an assigned territory to achieve sales goals, represent 3M’s personal auto products to distributors and brand customers, and deliver product demonstrations and training. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen market presence and drive business outcomes. This role requires independent time management, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel within your region as needed.
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

As a Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.
Responsibilities

Manage your assigned territory to achieve sales goals and establish self-directed sales coverage.

Demonstrate and train both internal and external customers on product knowledge, applications, systems, and procedures.

Represent 3M’s products and services to distributors, graphic manufacturers, and brand owners.

Provide guidance, support, and leadership to accounts, prospects, and peers.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and safety standards in all activities.
Requirements

Current, valid Driver’s License.

Ability to travel approximately 25% or more, including some overnight and weekend travel.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.
Experience & Education
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

At least five (5) years of sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected annual compensation range is $142,479 – $174,141, including base pay plus variable incentive pay. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.
