HONK is a remote-first technology company that provides digital roadside assistance across the U.S. This Customer Care Specialist role focuses on inbound customer support and service coordination in time-sensitive situations.
This position is best suited for candidates who already have a quiet, dedicated home workspace and are comfortable working independently without interruptions. The role emphasizes clear communication, calm problem-solving, and accurate documentation in a fully remote environment. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) may be especially competitive.

Provide remote customer support and coordination services for drivers needing roadside assistance, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
Responsibilities

Answer inbound customer inquiries related to roadside assistance needs.

Coordinate service requests with third-party providers.

Monitor active cases to ensure timely resolution.

Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers during stressful situations.

Document interactions accurately using internal systems.
Requirements

Prior customer service or support experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to remain calm and organized in time-sensitive situations.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
Experience & Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous remote or contact-center experience preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- The expected compensation for this role is $14.00 – $16.00/hr.
