Liberty Mutual is a major U.S. insurance provider supporting personal and commercial insurance customers nationwide through technology-enabled, distributed operations.
In this fully remote process support role, you’ll independently review and author property inspection reports, analyze risk and reconstruction costs, interpret underwriting guidelines, and support process improvements across insurance operations. The work is documentation-heavy and analytical, with regular collaboration across underwriting, risk engineering, and business teams.
This position is best suited for mid-career candidates with prior insurance, underwriting, loss control, or operations experience who prefer structured, non-sales work and are comfortable reviewing detailed information. The role is full-time, remote within the U.S.

Responsibilities
- Author detailed property inspection reports identifying features, hazards, and loss control opportunities.
- Calculate reconstruction costs using third-party estimation tools.
- Interpret and explain inspection findings to insureds, agents, and internal teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve inspection and documentation processes.
- Collaborate with Risk Engineering and business leadership on quality and efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers
Relevant Experience & Skills
- Knowledge, skills and capabilities typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of three years of related work experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills needed in order to communicate effectively with customers and other staff.
- Requires ability to perform detailed work (eg review and prepare documentation).
- Strong knowledge of systems and personal computer workstations preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated compensation for this role is $52,000 – $84,000/yr.
