No weekends required. Hours are 8:30AM-5:00PM EST Monday-Friday.

No state hiring restrictions mentioned. Estimated pay is $14-$15/hr. based on reviews, but that’s not official.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Be available to handle member inquiries. Represent Health Plan by answering and documenting all incoming contacts to determine their nature, and respond to complex calls related to specialized product lines or ques.

  • Answering inbound provider calls assisting with health plan coverage for members. The CSR will answer questions regarding health insurance benefits, prior authorization, eligibility, and general information regarding the member’s insurance policy.
  • Hours are 8:30AM-5:00PM EST Monday-Friday (CSR’s are expected to stay until queue is clear so working after 5PM EST can occur).
  • CSRs should expect to take an average of 20-30 calls per day.
  • CSRs must be able to multitask as multiple programs are used on each call to assist providers.
  • CSRs should have prior experience in call center

A basic understanding of computer knowledge is required including but not limited to:

  • How to navigate email
  • How to navigate in an internet browser
  • How to toggle through multiple programs.
  • Proficient typing skills

Skills Required:

  • Prior call center experience
  • General computer literacy
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Professionalism skills (verbal and via email/chat)
  • Multitasking
  • Proficient Attendance

Qualifications

  • Must have Internet to include a router with Ethernet jack for connectivity to PC
  • Must have a private work station to perform your work
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • Health insurance experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years customer service experience preferred
  • Minimum typing speed = 30-35 wpm preferred
  • Substantial understanding of the job, apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers required
  • Strong reading comprehension and writing skills
  • Follow established procedures to meet customer needs.
