Instacart is an online grocery delivery and retail marketplace operating across the U.S. and Canada, connecting customers, retail partners, and personal shoppers.
This role involves establishing and improving processes that prepare cross-functional teams for product changes, developing operational playbooks, advising on feasibility and readiness, and acting as the voice of customers/shoppers for continuous improvement. t’s best suited for mid- to senior-career candidates with deep cross-functional leadership, data fluency, and operational strategy experience. The position is full-time, remote-eligible within the U.S., and aligned with Instacart’s Flex-First work approach.

Drive readiness and operational execution for product launches, ensuring customer, shopper, and support readiness while embedding continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Establish and refine operational processes supporting product changes.
- Develop playbooks and manage complex project execution.
- Align cross-functional stakeholders on objectives and readiness.
- Advise product teams on initiative feasibility through the lifecycle.
- Create and leverage feedback channels during testing and launch.
- Track success metrics and translate operational trends into insights.
- Present insights and influence outcomes across teams.
Relevant Experience & Skills
- BA/BS degree with 7+ years of experience in operations strategy, product management, business consulting, or finance. Must also have 5+ years of experience leading and managing projects with various teams.
- Solid communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with a proven track record of working with internal and external stakeholders and impacting user experience
- Advanced data skills: 2+ years of SQL and querying, power user of Excel/PowerPoint or Google Sheets/Slides
- Prior experience working with customer feedback data and leveraging insights to drive product enhancements
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated compensation for this role is $124,000 – $166,000/yr. (varies by state).
