This full-time, remote position allows candidates to work from anywhere in the United States, offering flexibility and convenience. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST.
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Patient Care Coordinator I, your daily responsibilities will include answering incoming calls from patients and caregivers, processing prescription changes, and triaging calls to various departments. You will verify patient demographics and insurance information to ensure accurate shipment of orders, directly impacting patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Answer Calls: Handle inquiries from patients and caregivers
- Process Changes: Update prescription orders
- Triaging: Direct calls to appropriate departments
- Verify Information: Confirm patient and insurance details
- Support Admissions: Assist with patient onboarding
Relevant Experience & Skills Required
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED
- Customer Service: Experience in a call center environment
- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Healthcare Experience: Preferred in home infusion
- Detail Oriented: Ensure accurate documentation
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this role is $17.00 – $25.65/hr.
