Here are 11 companies that could be the 1st step in your remote banking career.
Rocket Money is an app to help consumers take charge of their finances snd stay on top of their spending. Does a job as a Technical Recruiter ($85,000 – $120,000/year + bonus + benefits) or Growth Marketing Associate, Influencer ($60,000 – $80,000/year + bonus + benefits) sound like you? Maybe Rocket has the finance job you’ve been looking for.
Green Dot has been in business since 1999. “Our proprietary technology enables faster, more efficient electronic payments and money management, powering intuitive and seamless ways for people to spend, send, control, and save money…” They hire for many remote positions, from Customer Service and Fraud Investigators to Legal roles. Ally Financial is a digital financial services company. From banking and lending to investments, Ally utilizes remote workers. Many jobs are posted by region or state but are remote. Positions fill quickly, so be sure to see their open roles, and join their talent community to stay current.
Ellevest is an investing and wealth management company “built by women for women.” As we write, they seek an Email Marketing and MarTech Consultant (prospective hourly rate for this role is $50 – $80/hr.) and have independent Financial Planning and Advisor slots. “MoneyLion’s mission is to give everyone the power to make their best financial decisions.” This banking app has been known to hire customer support roles remotely. Check out this opening for a Social Media Customer Advocate.
Capital One is a large banking and finance company and a popular employer. Their remote options fill fast and change regularly. Currently, they’re looking to fill a Principal Associate, ADA Title III Enterprise Lead position ($88,100 – $100,500/yr.), and many remote positions in customer-facing and IT roles.
They also have a helpful job-finding tool on their career site. If you enter your interests and experience, they’ll try to match you with suitable roles.

Foundation Finance Company works with home improvement contractors and dealers, offering finance options and other services. Currently, they’re recruiting for a Credit Analyst ($20- $21.50/hr.), a Dealer Service Specialist ($20-$21.50/hr.), and a part-time Verification Specialist ($15/hr.). eMoney is a platform for financial planning pros. If client services or business development is in your wheelhouse, they are currently looking for Account Managers ($47,000 – $64,000/yr.) and Client Support Specialists ($44,000 – $59,000/yr.).
J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. is also an option, for remote work with their travel program. Remote jobs tend to be tied to specific states, so join their Talent Network to be notified about remote positions in your area. Right now, they’re looking for a Corporate Travel Advisor II. Eligible states include NY, CO, CT, WA. HI, NJ, NV, RI, and CA. OppFi is another banking app that hires remotely. Customer Service ($16.50/hr.) and Credit Manager (estimated at $100,000/yr., but that’s not official) are currently posted, and you can join their talent pool here.
