We’ve gathered a list of part-time gigs and extra-cash options that offer a blend of flexibility and income. Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent, a student, or simply seeking some extra income, these will help you dance to your own tune.

Verifast:

Hires contract Phone Agents with as little as 10 hours of commitment. Estimated pay per Glassdoor, $17-$24/hr. (Not hiring from AL, CA, CO, CT, MA, NV, NY, OR, WA, or WI.) If you have strong communication skills, and can work some evenings and weekends, this may be a fit.

ACD Direct:

Hires Part-Time Contract Customer Service Agents. Average hourly pay $18.38 per Indeed. “ACD is seeking driven, energetic, and experienced customer service professionals. We contract with independent call agents providing their skills, expertise, and services to our diverse client base…”

Rare Patient Voice:

Participate in medical Studies. “$120/Hr.” Rare Patient Voice is looking for participants for a variety of health research studies. Applicants must have a professionally diagnosed condition. Per the site, “As of January 1, 2023, for new studies the honorarium for patients and family caregivers is $120 per hour…”

Swagbucks:

Get paid for watching vids, or using Swagbucks’ search engine (powered by Yahoo), or taking surveys. An extra-cash option.

Rev:

Make $240–$1,500 a month captioning videos from home. (They don’t hire from CA or MA.) No experience necessary; training provided. Get paid to type captions for videos. Rev has hired many RRRebels in this role and as Transcriptionists, too. Workflow will vary!

Kickoff:

Virtual Certified Trainers: If you’re a Certified Personal Trainer looking for a side gig, Kickoff claims their coaches can earn up to $10k per month utilizing their AI-assisted platform.

Market Scale:

Digital Media Strategist:”With as little as 5 or as much as 20 hours per week, you can enjoy helping some of the world’s greatest brands create the marketing and media they need…” Estimated pay $35/hr., per Indeed.

Fibler:

Be a Subject Matter Expert:  “Are you a certified expert looking to offer professional remote consultations and exclusive video chats to your clients worldwide?” Fibler may be a good fit. Pay dependent on specialty and complexity.

American Greetings:

If you like to get out and be active part-time, consider a side gig merchandising with American Greetings. Estimated pay range $16-$22 per Glassdoor, average hourly pay $12.77 per Indeed.

Avatar Feedback Community: [Paused]

Get paid up to $100 to talk about avatars. Also pays cash for surveys about avatars. “Pays $5 – $100 per activity.” In this gig you can help shape the future of virtual reality. Facebook account required. Sponsored by The Schlesinger Group.

Wrapify:

Get paid for ads on your car. Selected locations. Get paid based on the miles you drive and how much advertising is on your car. The company says the estimated monthly range is $264–$452 for a “full wrap.” Less wrapping = smaller payments.

Decorilla:

Be your own design firm! Got a flair for interior design? Use the platform to drum up business and be seen. “Earn money; we only take a small commission from clients. Build client relationships. Beech Valley Solutions:

Beech Valley Solutions matches accounting and finance professionals to grow a new consulting practice. “Set your own schedule. Choose when and where you work. Diversify your technical skills on new, exciting projects. Get paid more for every hour you work. Expand your professional network at sought-after companies…”

Scoopshot:

Sell your cell phone pics for side cash. “Scoopshot allows you to share and sell your mobile photography/video content to newspapers, online news websites and brands. If you witness something unusual that might be newsworthy send it to Scoopshot and participate in tasks, too — the best photos snap the rewards. Any money that you earn goes directly into to your PayPal account…”

TaskRabbit:

TaskRabbit connects busy people in need of help with trusted local Taskers who can lend a hand with everything from home repairs to errands. As a Tasker, you can get paid to do what you love, when and where you want — all while saving the day for someone in your city. You set the rates and availability of services. Pay will vary by your location and type of service.

Landmark:

If you’re looking to provide part-time transcription services, Landmark may fit the bill. Their pay rates aren’t mentioned, though Glassdoor lists an hourly range of $19 to $29, with an average of $23.

Rover:

Walk dogs for cash, or board them or provide doggy daycare services. Set your own schedule and prices. Offer any combination of pet care services, set size, age, and other pet preferences that work for you. Rates vary widely, by location. An app and website for families to find, book and pay trusted care for the entire household, from child care to tutors, pet sitters, housekeepers, and senior care. Caregivers looking for direct access to flexible work where you decide what to book may enjoy this option.
