If you’re a RRR regular, you’ve almost certainly seen out posts about Sykes’ Customer Service positions and, more recently, their Teacher Quality Evaluator positions. Well, now Sykes is looking for Part-Time Search Quality Evaluators and it may be just what you’ve been looking for!
In this job, you will be performing “simple web searches on specific topics and rating the results [you] find within an average allotted time.”
The company is hiring nationwide EXCEPT AK, CA, DE, HI, IL, LA, MA, MD, ME, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC and Puerto Rico.
Set your own hours (after training). Pay is not noted in their job listing. However, we have heard it is your state minimum, but that’s not official.

We all know how frustrating it is to search a topic online and not get the results that match our needs. In this position you will use your attention to detail and tech-savvy skills to evaluate search engine results for relevancy and quality. The Evaluator will be responsible for performing simple web searches on specific topics and rating the results they find within an average allotted time. Agents must use their own PC (no Macs) and an activated smartphone with Wi-Fi capability is required. Time is flexible! Can work on your own time (no schedule provided after training). Must work 20 hours weekly. Applicants without strong computer skills will not be considered. You must have the ability to review offensive/mature content without being offended.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and maintain confidentiality (You will need to sign and upload your signed NDA to your candidate profile before taking the Search Quality Evaluator exams)
