Boom Entertainment offers a full-time, remote position with flexibility in scheduling. The initial work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET, with potential changes over time. This role operates under a contract-to-hire model for U.S. candidates or as an international consultant position for those outside the U.S.
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Customer Support Representative, daily tasks include providing high-volume support via email and live chat, handling and escalating support requests, monitoring for critical site issues, and resolving contest inquiries. This role is non-phone work, focusing on customer interactions through digital communication channels.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Provide Support: High-volume email and chat assistance
- Handle Requests: Escalate to appropriate parties
- Monitor Issues: Identify and escalate site problems
- Resolve Inquiries: Address contest and billing questions
- Verify Identities: Ensure user identity during sign-up
Relevant Experience & Skills Required
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer Experience: 2+ years in support or operations
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Zendesk and Intercom
- Sports Enthusiasm: Interest in sports and gaming
- Autonomous Work: Ability to prioritize tasks independently
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this role is $20.00 – 25.00/hr. (Estimated based on similar roles; Actual pay may vary.)
