What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Customer Support Specialist, the role involves managing inbound conversations across email, chat, and messaging platforms. Responsibilities include delivering warm and thoughtful support, troubleshooting issues creatively, and using AI tools to personalize responses. The position also includes identifying customer insights to drive improvements and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
This part-time contract role starts at 20–25 hours per week, with the potential to scale to full-time. The position is fully remote within the United States. HeartStamp offers competitive hourly pay, along with performance bonuses, equity opportunities, and ongoing growth potential.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Manage Conversations: Handle inbound customer interactions across email, chat, and messaging platforms
- Deliver Support: Provide warm, thoughtful, and personalized assistance to customers
- Utilize AI Tools: Use AI to draft and refine responses for high-quality support
- Troubleshoot Issues: Creatively resolve order, personalization, and delivery challenges
- Identify Patterns: Turn customer insights into actionable improvements
Relevant Experience & Skills Required
- Experience Required: 3+ years in customer support or service roles
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication with empathy and clarity
- AI Proficiency: Comfort using and exploring AI tools for customer care
- Initiative and Ownership: Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail
- Problem Prevention: Systems-thinking approach to prevent and solve problems
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated compensation for this role is $18.00 – $21.00/hr. based on experience.
