This role is full-time and temporary, with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs. It offers flexibility, requiring one weekend per month and at least four holidays per year, with possible shift adjustments.
What Your Day Will Look Like
The Medical Records Coordinator will focus on processing records requests and patient authorization forms. Daily tasks include building relationships with providers and patients, assisting with Mental Health Leaves & Accommodations, and maintaining HIPAA compliance. The role involves responding to emails, handling phone calls, and processing patient support tickets, ensuring all requests are addressed within 24-48 hours.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Process Requests: Upload medical records and forms
- Build Relationships: Collaborate with providers and patients
- Assist Members: Support MHLA requests and accommodations
- Provide Metrics: Report weekly on records status
- Ensure Compliance: Follow HIPAA guidelines strictly
Relevant Experience & Skills Required
- Education Requirements: 1 year in similar role
- Medical Knowledge: Advanced medical terminology
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written
- Tech Proficiency: Adobe, Google, MS Office
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this role is $20.51 – $25.64/hr..
