Put Your Customer Service Experience to Work From Home
Looking for a work-from-home opportunity that puts your customer service experience to use without locking you into a traditional 9-to-5 schedule? ACD Direct is recruiting independent contractors to handle inbound customer service calls, with flexible scheduling and potential performance incentives.
As a contractor, you’ll assist callers on behalf of ACD Direct’s clients from your own home office. This is a 1099 opportunity, with compensation based on time spent handling calls rather than a fixed hourly wage.
As a remote inbound customer service contractor, you’ll assist callers on behalf of ACD Direct’s clients.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Answering inbound customer calls professionally
- Assisting callers with questions and service-related needs
- Following client-specific scripts and procedures
- Navigating computer systems while speaking with customers
- Providing accurate information and a positive customer experience
ACD Direct is looking for applicants who are comfortable working independently and assisting customers over the phone.
You’ll need:
- At least three months of customer service experience, preferably in a phone or call center environment
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer troubleshooting abilities
- Comfort following scripts and client instructions
- Willingness to complete online certification and a criminal background check
ACD Direct contractors can earn $0.20–$0.32 per talk minute, depending on the project.
It’s important to understand that this is not an hourly wage. Earnings are based on the time spent actively handling calls, rather than the total time you’re logged in or available. Additional performance incentives may be offered based on factors such as shift reliability and average talk time.
Contractors can set and maintain their own schedules, providing flexibility for those who want greater control over when they work.
Invoices are processed monthly, with direct deposits generally issued around the 5th and 20th, subject to adjustments for weekends and holidays.
ACD Direct is accepting applicants from eligible U.S. states.
The company is not currently contracting in California, Delaware, Massachusetts, Louisiana, West Virginia, Wyoming, Vermont, or South Dakota.
If you have customer service experience and are interested in flexible, remote contract work, you can learn more and apply directly through ACD Direct. Be sure to review the full contractor requirements, technology specifications, and certification details before applying.
