Logistics

This position is full-time and remote, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 4:30 pm to 1 am PDT. UPS offers a structured work environment that requires employees to be within a reasonable commute to a UPS facility for occasional in-person meetings or training sessions.

What Your Day Will Look Like

In this role, you will prepare customs entries and coordinate freight delivery to designated locations. You will communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, resolve finance and accounting reconciliation issues, and scan entries into the imaging system. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentations using various software packages, and follow up on documentation discrepancies while establishing and maintaining client relationships.

  • Prepare Customs Entries: Forward freight to designated locations and interface with carriers
  • Coordinate Freight Delivery: Ensure timely delivery to designated locations
  • Resolve Discrepancies: Communicate documentation issues with clients and supervisors
  • Scan Entries: Meet time requirements for imaging system
  • Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and follow up on documentation issues

Relevant Experience & Skills Required

  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Customs Knowledge: Basic understanding of customs operations and regulations
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written abilities
  • Data Entry: Accurate and rapid data entry skills
