What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Medical Billing Specialist, you’ll analyze EOBs, post manual payments, and identify payment posting issues. You’ll also investigate payment discrepancies and document all payment-related activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the billing process. This is a fully remote contract position requiring a minimum availability of 35 hours per week during core business hours.

- Identify Issues: Spot payment posting problems
- Correct Errors: Fix payment posting mistakes
- Investigate Payments: Resolve discrepancies and denials
- Document Activities: Record all payment communications
Relevant Experience & Skills Required
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED
- Experience Required: 2+ years in revenue cycle management
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in tasks
- Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks effectively
