What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you’ll analyze EOBs, post manual payments, and identify payment posting issues. You’ll also investigate payment discrepancies and document all payment-related activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the billing process.  This is a fully remote contract position requiring a minimum availability of 35 hours per week during core business hours.

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Analyze EOBs: Review and process manual payments
  • Identify Issues: Spot payment posting problems
  • Correct Errors: Fix payment posting mistakes
  • Investigate Payments: Resolve discrepancies and denials
  • Document Activities: Record all payment communications

Relevant Experience & Skills Required

  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience Required: 2+ years in revenue cycle management
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in tasks

  • Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks effectively

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this role is $18.00 – $20.00/hr..
