This part-time role offers the flexibility of working virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of one of the listed Elevance Health locations. The schedule consists of two 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern on Friday and Saturday.
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Referral Specialist II, you will act as a liaison between hospitals, health plans, physicians, and patients. Your tasks include reviewing complex referrals, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and entering referral data into the system. You will also handle multiple communication channels, ensuring detailed documentation and effective administrative support to the clinical team.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this role is $20.61 – $30.91/hr..
